There are several types of ORIGINAL DESIGN square coin tubes on the market. KCCS, Numis, Colella. I will try to breakdown the advantages and drawbacks of the different tubes here. If you are looking for the "cheap knock-off tube" then you are in the wrong place.

KCCS tubes:

New to the market with a new design (2000-2002). The most important design feature is that unlike other quarter tubes on the market, the KCCS quarter tube is specifically designed and engineered to HOLD AND CLOSE with a bank wrapped roll of quarters. This is an industry first. KCCS has listened to all of its customers and specifically designed their quarter tube to its customers needs. It is made of inert plastic that is much more stable than polyethylene, thus will not be affected as much by hot and cold. The tubes are made of "virgin material".

Numis tubes:

Numis got their patent back in 1964. The tube design is basic and has several flaws. The most notable is that the top (cap) doesn't stay on very well and if it's dropped you would most probably spill the coins (I have). Their quarter tube WILL NOT hold a bank wrapped roll and close. It is made out of polyethylene and is more unstable and thus more susceptible to hot and cold compared with to the KCCS tube. The tubes are made with virgin material.

Colella tubes:

A bit newer design than Numis but it is still a bit shorter than needed for their quarter tube to comfortably hold a bank wrapped roll of quarters. They are made out of Polyethylene, an inert plastic but it is more volatile to temperature changes than the KCCS tube. The tubes are made with virgin material. The other and most major problem with this tube is the lack of relaible supply.

Coinsafe"crapsafe" tubes:

Coin Safe: the cheap knock off tube from the Numis tube. Many people (and companies) have emailed me about coinsafe tubes. Nothhig positive, but when you are in business for your self and don't care about the customer, this is what you get..
One point. My Mom always told me that if I can't say anything good then say nothing at all. And a picture is worth a thousand words..(coming soon)
